New white K-style gutter hung on the existing painted wood fascia
The gutters on this Gahanna split-level were at the end of their service life — seams, corners and end caps all leaking, and each one caulked over again and again to buy time. Once we got up there, the runs were packed solid with shingle grit and debris and no longer draining to the outlets. We took down every gutter and downspout, left the sound painted wood fascia in place, and hung new 5-inch seamless aluminum K-style gutters in white with 2x3 downspouts to match the originals. Old material was hauled off and the beds and lawn left clean.
The house now has a complete, watertight gutter system instead of a patchwork of caulked seams and blocked runs. Water leaves the roof edge, reaches the outlets and goes down the new downspouts away from the foundation, the white gutters sit crisp against the siding, and the beds and lawn were left clean at the end of the day.
